| E-Com opened for business as a primary PSAP, or public safety answering point on November 9th, 2005.
Using state-of-the-art wireless technology, E-Com is able to facilitate emergency response and assist and direct emergency responders for a total population of almost 90,000 people across six communities in an ultra-secure environment.
As secure as it is, E-Com's main center is a comfortable, office-like environment with plenty of natural light, and the newest air management technology. These things, along with the ergonomically correct chairs, and hydraulically adjustable desks that have dynamic settings for height, mean that the hard work our Telecommunicators do, is made just a little easier.
